Yes, your eyes don't deceive you - one of the more popular Android games is now available for Symbian (in clone form, at least) and for free (with some caveats below). In Logo Quiz, you'll rack your consumer knowledge to identify many hundred brands and logos - backed up by hints that you can earn or buy. Screens and comments below - there's currently a sting in the tail if you play guitar(!)

It's not clear whether Pico Brothers have licensed the logos from another developer or done some deal of their own - the game isn't identical the title of the same name under Android. You do still get sixteen levels of 40 brand icons - so 640 in all.
To unlock a level, you need to identify 10 of the brands in each preceding level, a system which is pitched just right. Note the in-app advertising at the bottom of the screen, by the way.
You type in your brand guesses, and (hopefully) spell the names right. Somehow I was missing something in the 'kitty' logo, so asked for a hint. PS. Don't Google 'Miss Kitty' unless you want a shock 8-)
If you're right, you're rewarded with more score and (every three right answers) with an extra 'hint' available. As I say, it's nicely pitched.
Logo Quiz remembers all your stats; Right, if you get completely stuck, you can use some 'stars' to cheat and peek at the answer.
Of course, at some point you're going to run out of hints and stars, which is where some in-app purchasing comes in, to buy hints, stars or both. Or to remove ads. It's an approach which might work for the developers, but when I tried to actually buy something, I hit an error each time. Here's hoping this was just teething trouble in Pico Brothers' payment server....
I should explain my cryptic comments at the start though. Someone at Pico Brothers has goofed. I emailed them a week ago, to no avail. You see, this game has the exact same ID for Symbian OS as another of its applications, Guitar Tuner. So you can't have both installed at the same time. And I'm damned if I'm going to give up on the guitar.... Hopefully this glitch, too, will be rectified soon enough!
